Chili Cook-off
Welcoming back the not so annual
Chili Cookoff! Meeting will be held at the Hidden
Hills Clubhouse, 724 Wakefield Rd, Gurnee, IL. Feel free to bring your favorite
Chili or Soup to share…and maybe a power strip. Entries will be judged by all with
awards, prizes or just a firm handshake given out to the winners. Don’t have a favorite chili/soup to
bring? No worries, bring some
crackers, appetizers, munchies or sweets. Water and soda will be provided…NO
alcohol allowed! There is a pool
and ping pong table for before/after the meeting. Dinner/social time from 3:00–5:00pm
and our general meeting to follow.

Parade lineup will be at 10:00am
at Sanborn Elementary School, 101 N Oak St, Palatine. Parade kickoff is at 11:00am and will
end at Durty Nellie’s. We are looking for 4-6 SGMFC vehicles

Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria, 164 US-12, Fox Lake ((847)
973-1800). We will have a
Show-n-Shine at 2:00pm (weather permitting) with the dinner/social time
from 3:00-4:00pm and our general meeting to follow. Dinner will be mozzarella
sticks/chicken finger appetizers, a pizza & salad buffet and 2

Legion Memorial Day Parade
Parade lineup will be at 10:00am
at Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs, 327 N Eric Dr,
Palatine.
Parade kickoff is at 11:00am.
We would like 4-6 SGMFC convertibles for VIP’s plus 6-8
additional vehicles for parade entry.

at Turnbull Woods Forest Preserve, on Green Bay Rd just south of County

$7.50/hr to raise funds for donation to our
